As the son of a trial lawyer, he was introduced to the legal profession at an early age. Growing up, he developed a strong work ethic and an appreciation for learning. After earning his B.S. and M.B.A. degrees, he worked for the FDOT. It was there that his interest in legal advocacy peaked, and his desire to help people led him to pursue a law degree.

He attended a law school nationally renowned for its trial advocacy program. After graduation, he was admitted to practice law in Florida and Georgia. Following a year of practice in Florida, he moved to Georgia and joined a personal injury firm. After a decade of litigating cases on behalf of injured accident victims, he started his own law firm.

Through the years, Paul Shimek has represented thousands of clients in automobile injury claims. During that time, he gained extensive experience in dealing with insurance companies. He understands how they operate and how they evaluate claims. He stays current on the latest developments in Georgia law on torts and automobile insurance so that his clients can receive the best possible legal representation.
